Workshop on Strengthening Camel Milk Value Chain in India:

The Government of India has said that there is a need to strengthen the value chain of camel milk to promote non-cow milk sector in the country.

The United Nations has declared 2024 as the International Year of the Camel.

The Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) recently organised a one-week workshop on ‘Strengthening the Camel Milk Value Chain in India’ in the camel-rich state of Rajasthan (Bikaner).

The states with the highest number of camels are Rajasthan and Gujarat.

4 agreements signed between India and Kuwait

India and Kuwait have signed four agreements in the fields of defence, culture, sports and solar energy.

The agreements were signed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and King of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Shabaab.

In 1981, Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the country after Indira Gandhi.

The MoU provides for cooperation in the field of defence training, exchange of personnel and expertise, joint training, cooperation in the field of defence industry, supply of defence equipment, research and development.

Other agreements were signed to strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and solar energy.

Kuwait hosted the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which includes the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.

India is the world’s sixth-biggest oil supplier.

PM Modi conferred with Kuwait’s highest civilian award

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with Kuwait’s highest civilian award, the ‘Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer’.

This is Prime Minister Modi’s 20th international award.

In November last year, the Prime Minister was conferred with the highest civilian award of Nigeria, Guyana and Dominica.

The awards were given in recognition of their contribution to bilateral relations and the global community.

PSLV C-60 fourth stage carries 24 instruments: ISRO

According to ISRO, the fourth stage (BOYAM-4) of the PSLV C-60 rocket, which will be launched for the SPETEX project, has 24 instruments.

Of these, 14 were developed by ISRO and 10 were developed by academic institutions and research institutes.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is planning to set up an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) station by 2035.

As part of this, the SPADEX project is currently being implemented.

Under this project, research work will be carried out to integrate spacecraft in space.

For this purpose, two satellites, namely Chaser and Target, weighing 400 kg each, have been designed by a private company under the guidance of ISRO.

These satellites will be placed in different orbits at a distance of about 700 km from the Earth.

After that, they will be combined.

The launch will be carried out by a PSLV C-60 rocket from the Sriharikota spaceport.

This technology will be used to transfer fuel and fuel from one spacecraft to another when humans are sent to space.

December 23 is celebrated as Kisan Diwas (National Farmers Day).

National Farmers’ Day, also known as ICAR Kisan Diwas, is celebrated every year on December 23 to mark the birth anniversary of the 5th Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh.
